A little background on Stretford:
Stretford is home to the first building in Britain to be illuminated by neon tube lighting. The grade II listed Longford Cinema has been standing since 1936 but has been unused for over 20 years. One of the most famous structures in Stretford is Old Trafford, the home ground for football team Manchester United.
